FiA Penalties

We have had complaints over recent penalties applied,FiA is not some power hungry mad group who likes dishing out penalties,4 hours were spent on Tuesday of guys free time watching and discussing the issues of the week.
I can understand drivers annoyance at penalties and everyone thinks they have all the answers,but we have a system, we have had corner cutting problems in the past and we used that penalty applied then as a guideline where a driver was disqual from the race result,some stewards maybe less strict than others so when you appeal a corner cut decision you open yourself up for this to be looked at by more people and more in depth.
All drivers be advised to make yourself more familiar on the rules and if your not sure just ask.
FiA often works in a driver favour if they disagree with a steward as ive known FiA to overturn a decision in the past.
so don't be reluctant to appeal a decision,but think carefully before you do,maybe get some advice first.
