Gran turismo 6 Update 1.06

Hey guys there has been an update for gt6 and i was wondering if some of you could tell me what this is all about? Its update 1.06 and has some new features like the "Data logger" and the "Gps visualiser", now theres a pretty good explanation if you go to Notifications but i still didnt really understood what they where talking about.
I tested the data logger myself and it seems to work with either time trial or your best race lap or somesort (i only tested TT) But its pretty cool because you can load your best saved lap time and compare it with your previous saved best lap time, like i did with my best time trial lap from Laguna seca with the audi a4. You can see where and wen you changed gears, you can see you braking behaviour stuff like that.  But thats about how far i got lol so please some info, you guys think its usefull or useless?

Dude, if you have a car and go to a real world circuit like silverstone, you can collect the GPS data from the car, then plug it into the game and it will give you a replay of your lap from real life!

Sounds kinda cool, but dunno how well it works and I doubt any of us will be able to give it a go.

Aahhh ok wow that sounds awesome but yea who will ever use that indeed .

GPS is also going to link with the track editor when or if it ever arrives
