Hey Marz, We will be looking at the incident, however I also heard there were some 'choice words' used at the end of the race.
I would like to remind everybody that respect must be shown to all members off track as well as on track and bad or abusive language is unacceptable.

I apologised to the parties involved. Deal with it as two separate incidents. I can accept coming in 2nd place. But when someone is bragging they won after running me into the wall im not keeping my mouth closed. However my choice of words was unacceptable... And i apologise to all in group b! Was a heated moment! Anyway. U guys decide!

Re: suzuka appeals
wow that incident is real tough to call, watched it about 50 times and im still a bit undecided lol.I can admit one thing I would have tried the overtake I think most would.
questions I asked myself when watching were:
was there a cars width for marz to slot his car into or was a gap forced?
did vern close the door early enough?
did there contact scrub some speed off marz costing him the win?
who was at fault for there contact?
if you can answer tese questions it should help with any decisions but im still mulling it over lol.

Re: suzuka appeals
Vernon is not at fault for defending. But he defended a space to late resulting in my rubbing alongside him and the wall....its clear to see i got a better exit and was going to take the win. I felt the wall on my steering wheel so i know i hit the wall. Even if some angles on the replay are questionable. Seriously tho guys. Ulot can all see what happened! For me the matter is closed! Again the apology for the heated moment!

Re: suzuka appeals
You can see on the last picture that the corner goes right but the barrier comes out to the left squeezing the space. It is evident to me that in the last picture marz has already earned a right to some space as his front left is next to Vernon rear right. Due to Vernon continuing to close the angle and the barrier coming out marz ended up lets say squeezed. I believe Vernon took that line correctly to defend as lets be honest we all would but I think there was a miscalculation in exactly how much space was left leading to marz being put into the barrier and losing some momentum. I do not think malace was intended in anyway however its clear to see the outcome is a miscalculation on Vernons part causing the incident. Just my opinion on the matter.

Re: suzuka appeals
This isn't an argument against Marz, more of a defence. I go to defend the inside, knowing Marz was going to get a better exit based on how quickly he caught me in the last 2 laps. He goes for a gap on the inside which ends up being closed/reduced not by me, but by the barrier coming back out towards the race circuit. Once I realise he is still there I do move back left, I was not expecting him to stick with a move where it was obvious that the gap was going to close.
I want to look at the replay again to see whether this does scrub off some of his speed. I personally don't think I'm in the wrong, I pushed the boundaries yes, but I feel I remained on the correct side of the boundary and didn't go too far.
No hard feelings with Marz on the comments in the aftermath, I would have probably done the same in the heat of the moment.
Again this is just my opinion on the matter.

Re: suzuka appeals
first five laps u can see evidence of lag.
lap5 he catches odie goes off and decides to take a trip across the grass.
lap9 another trip across the grass
lap10 goes off waits and rejoins.
lap11 pits
lap12 spins and lets cars through
lap14 brakes safely so he can be lapped
lap15 where it gets interesting from here to the end on his fresher tyres it appears he regains interest in the race and hounds vern a little to the finish.
